Christopher R. Fetsch, PhD
Principal Investigator
Chris studied Physics and Biology at the College of William and Mary, then completed his PhD in Neuroscience at Wash U. in St. Louis. After postdoctoral training at UW & Columbia, he joined the faculty at Hopkins in 2017. His hobbies include neither rock climbing nor playing an instrument.

Yared Haile
PhD Candidate (Neuroscience)
Yared joined the Neuroscience training program at Hopkins in 2020, after receiving a B.S. in cellular and molecular biology from Humboldt State University. Previously accustomed only to working in cell culture he's had an engaging and lively time familiarizing with the diverse and often relatable behaviours of our monkey pals.

Mengyu Serene Tu
PhD Candidate (Psych & Brain Sciences) Serene graduated with a BSc (Honors) in Physics at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and joined the lab in 2021. Her research interest is to understand the neural mechanisms of intelligent behaviors, in particular, learning and decision making. In her free time she enjoys practicing Kung-Fu, and reading history & philosophy.

Yueh-Chen Chiang
PhD Candidate (Neuroscience) Yueh-Chen graduated with an MS in Molecular Medicine from National Taiwan University and joined the lab in 2023. After studying learning in worms, she is ready for a new adventure on the monkey planet. In her free time, she does weight training to make herself strong enough to take care of her primate fellows.

Rowhan Daly
Undergraduate Researcher Rowhan is a junior at Hopkins double majoring in Neuroscience & Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. He likes coding in Python and using computational tools to study the brain. He is from New York City and in his free time enjoys going to the gym and fostering dogs!
